Michele Fondacci does not load his music with the same weights we are familiar with: he is light. Electronic, percussive and constructive, he combines notes with images, flows close to what is not yet seen and is far from the already felt.
Fruit of study, attention, curiosity, smell, electronic security and pedestrian crossings, plants and bits but, above all, of a perfect knowledge of silence.

Michele Fondacci, Percussionist and composer in Gubbio (Italy), born in 1985, began his musical journeyat the age of 4 studying Battery. Later, he enrolled at the “F. Morlacchi” Conservatory in Perugia where he studied Percussion Instruments (M. Trippitelli), Composition (F. Cifariello Ciardi) and Electronic Music (Angelo Benedetti).
As a percussionist and drummer, he plays in important national and International festivals, including Umbria Jazz, Coppet Jazz and co, Moon in June, Stagione Barattelli, Auditorium Parco della Musica, Euro Chocolate, 1° Maggio in Piazza San Giovanni Roma, World League pallanuoto Femminile (Diretta su Rai Sat), Bluè Note Milano, Agorà dei Giovani Loreto 2007, Suoni della Terra, La settimana Mozartiana, Alba Jazz, Aosta Jazz, Spiagge Soul, Groove City, Casa del jazz Roma, Teatro Sistina Roma, Teano jazz, Jazz up, Foligno Young Jazz Festival, Barga Jazz (Lucca), Tuscia Jazz (Viterbo), Jazz Village (Pesaro), Val-badia Jazz, Trasimeno Blues, Attigliano Jazz, Atina Jazz, 150° anniversario dell’unita d’Italia (Consolato italiano Madrid), etc.
He has collaborated with artists like Shel Shapiro, Stefano Di Battista, Max Gazzè, Ennio Morricone, Fabrizio Bosso, Enzo Granagniello, Jacques Manger, Dario Fo’, Afro sound Percussion, Massimo Morriconi, Pippo Matino, Adriano Martino, Badarà Sek, Cecilia Chally, Solis String Quartet, Orchestra della Rai, Orchestra del Cinema di Roma, Afrosound Percussion, Enzo de Caro, Lee n’, Loretta Grace, etc.
He composes music applied to visual arts composing for theater, dance, cinema, audio-visualworks and new visual art forms (3D mapping, Light Art, etc).
Inspired by American minimalism, jazz, rock and electroacoustic music, he realizes in his compositions a fusion between fragments of SOUND and fragments of RHYTHM, through the cataloging-combination of techniques and parameters belonging to them.
The associated use of traditional instruments, electronic instruments and unconventional “instruments” gives an overall sound and original timbre to his works.
In the 2020 he released Road 2.0 and two other projects that have the name of Istant City and Istant People , dedicated to the composition and creation of concerts in real time.
